We put a few erotic pics in the yellows on CD, they got moved to the reds, where our explicit pics are. Appears they are using American laws. Being topless as a woman is not a morality issue here in Canada. If CD is now American they should have done their homework before using us as a test bed, If Marie wanted to walk down any main street top less in any town here she could, not illegal. Most Women do not however a web site for swingers, seems a bit odd. I'm going to hang on to my $!50. Now just a glorified dating site for couples.

It is getting busy temporarily while they allow the OG members to actually use the site. Once they stop allowing that it will be a ghost town again. Plus, how can you trust people that have just closed many many accounts with no explanation nor giving the owners of those accounts the opportunity to remove their information or pictures. Who knows what awful stuff they are going to do with people's personal information. This community is built on trust and they have lost the trust of the community. There are several facebook groups that are each several hundred people strong that have fled CD because they no longer trust the owners. Once you lose that trust, you will never get it back.

Ummm we didn't ask we just saw the thread and so we made a comment. We still like CD. How you feel isn't going to change that and we're happy It's getting busy again. It's obvious how you feel by your multiple posts you don't have to make a comment everytime someone says something. We saw you did that on another site as well. Let it go already.

Lol, comments are what forums are based on. If no one comments then the forum becomes stagnant. Sorry I have offended you by doing exactly what forums are intended to be used for. I am happy you are enjoying CD. We were not given the chance to enjoy it. Hopefully, the new owners don't remove you from the site without giving you the opportunity to remove your info or pics. Looks like CD is rebranding itself, new name, new site bigger base? Either way , still waiting to become full member. expect it will become a premium site.

Cost me nothing so far I just want choice . I have no idea who the owner is or care. support clubs we like parties we attend, and a better choice of forums rather than the current two. This and M4 free, club associated forum, This forum is OK, has a few bugs. We use the highway 407 because its more convenient than the 401 same logic applies. If CD turns into a premium site at a modest cost. we're in, not there yet. Lets take this analogy a bit farther, that's the main issue with the 401, too many trucks, that's the issue with the free forums too many single guys.

Keyparty dot com, OMG how out of touch can someone be when branding a LS site.

Still have not paid a cent for the forum , still see lots of bugs, still see the need for another alternative site. This site and the free M4 forum is pretty well it.

I was just on CD tonight. It is still terrible to navigate and looks as though very few are using it to any great degree. This site is far better and has options that CD has had but never worked.

I agree needs work, cost me nothing to wait see what happens, it's premature perception death bothered me as we need more forums. Some body with deep pockets, has a plan. Still think the plan is a premium forum, American based. Sort of like porn sites consolidated and funeral homes. CD was the seed. Either way this forum has bugs, Canada centric.

Only issue with current CD is definition of erotic vs explicit, a little too puritan.

Good news for Cafe Desire fans -- there are new owners! They just posted a message. They are long time CD users who are bringing the site back to it's original form.

THe previous owners who bought the site were all about making money.

The new owners are about the site and the community. They are giving original members full access again and they are charging a reasonable rate for new members -- $50 for a LIFETIME membership.

I feel optimistic that CD is going to return to its previous glory. Hopefully people return to the site.

One question for new owners of CD can we put erotic pics in yellows Marie was vert offended she can walk down street topless, the old owners considered it obscene to be topless in her pics in yellow. Suspect this may still be case in upcoming key club site, Probably prudish American owned.

And what about those of us that where removed by the previous new owner lol. We did nothing other than express our opinion and were suddenly and without notice removed and blocked. We had paid a lifetime membership and the owner chose not to honor that membership. Now, we still appear to be blocked.

CD is back new owner

CD is back up, waiting for approval to do anything on it for the past 24hrs, maybe they are swamped?

We are using it looks very good better than the original CD. great for Ontario even has map feature similar to M4, Loads up very fast. All features working.

Some of the links pointed to youngswingers before they got it all sorted out, it's definately owned and managed by M4 now.

The more I use it the more I think your right. Either way great site. Better than this forum.

Their map function did not work gave every ones address so removed. M4 map function works real well ,so not same team of programmers So doubt M4 owns them. Was great function they screwed it up.

I'm logging in from time to time, but not getting bites and it's a very lonely feeling these days on these sites, and how they've been developed - the world has obviously bypassed me.

If you're looking at CD you might have noticed an active thread "Non-sponsored Events Posting Rules". You might also have noticed posts have been deleted by the Admin to censor some accounts.

@TABOTA asked why they've been banned from posting events. @biloxi from M4 (owner of M4) replied, didn't address the issue and the posts and any evidence of the exchange have since been removed.

@GRNEYES asked why TABOTA was banned and @ANONEEMOUSE responded. Both accts have been suspended and their posts removed. CD is clearly not a safe space, just like the M4 site they own, they're heavily censoring posts and profiles.

What's unfair to the community is hiding the ownership and masquerading as a community driven site for the benefit of all. Which it clearly isn't. It's a club owned site, the stepsister to M4’s menageaquatre.

If you have any doubt about the M4 ownership, go have a look at their Menageaquatre site. Log in and you'll see the site layout and styles look familiar. From the very first "logged in successfully" message (identical top of page placement, same bright green colour) to the inside pages, round profile images, similar layouts and features. "Flirty Forum" on CD = "Shoutbox" on Menage, exact same placement. It's not rocket science.

Learned a long time ago not to make assumptions, Just happy they are back. many wrote CD off. I personally would like to see more clubs east of Toronto would be nice Durham region had issues with alcohol, dry areas for the longest time let alone sex. North of Toronto is best hope.

SH grew initially because it started as a free site + then a fee based business once many growing pains were addressed + had established a following with active members - fwiw

It's unfortunate what is going on with CD. It will only sow divisions in the local LS crowd. Being owned by a club now, it is understandable why they wouldn't want assist For-Profit competition, particularly on their big hitter weekends, when the competition has the unfair advantage of not owning an actual club and all the expenses that entails over the rest of the year. They don't seem to mind competition with other club owners though. On the other hand, an active site is far better advertisement than an empty one. People attract people. Let's hope it will continue to grow and the differences will get ironed out.
