Call this a rant call it a whinge.
I recently tried to upload a few photo of the light show they did here in Australia (Sydney) on our Harbour Bridge and our Opera House.
They were refused by admin.
They stated the reasons and Im sure they are working within their very narrow guide lines.
Ive pasted their reply and reason below.
I wont show the admin user name that contacted me because I feel they are working with the rules they are given and my anger isn't directed at them. My reply to admin is also posted below.
Is there something Im missing when it comes to common sense and the uploading of photos?
"suekevin,
Hi, we are (their name) and are part of the Admin/Moderator team here at Swinging Heaven.
As per the last message sent to you, in regards to photos that are acceptable to be uploaded, we are unable to authorize the images of Sydney Harbour as they are not on topic, but are amazingly gorgeous.
Technically, any pic that you upload must include at least one of you. An exception was made for your flag as it could be one of you holding it.
Sorry, as we do not enjoy letting a member know that we cannot authorize certain pics but we have to follow the guidelines and we hope you understand.
Cheers,"
My reply,
I thank you for your explanation and although I think it quiet silly I understand you are working with in the rules you are given.
In chatting with a few Canadians on this site I was asked to post a few photos of my town Sydney. I thank you for recognising my hand on the Australian flag stick. Even you your self must question such a ridiculous ruling. I can post a photo with a small amount of flesh in it being a headless body or cock but put a photo of our Harbour Bridge or Opera House with out flesh or body part is a no no, I sit here shaking my head thinking how stupid can things get.
I may not agree with your ruling but I do thank you for your time it took you to explain why the photos could not be loaded.
Regards, Kevin.
Im not trying to stand on a soap box here Im just trying to point out something that I think is so ridiculous I see it as a joke.

I like the rule. You can always upload your vacation slides to flickr and send interested parties a link.

Quote: Like us all you have the right to your opinion but I don't have to agree with it, nor do you need to agree with mine. Id agree with you more if I were posting my none erotic photos into a pubic forum or albums forcing you and everyone to look at them but I was uploading them into our own private album with the hope of showing the few Canadians that we've chatted to and were interested in seeing our lovely city sites.

I will never understand the stupidity of it. I wasn't putting the photos onto a public forum,  I was posting them into a folder within our own photo albums. Show cock or tit and its all okay, show a few photos of our Harbour Bridge and good lord we cant have that lol, what a joke.
Again I will never understand or go along with stupidity with out saying something, Im an AUSSIE!

The rules in place to stop profiles becoming loaded with all sorts of irrelevant pics, when someone views a profile they expect to see photo's of the account holder. It doesn't matter if they're private or public, we authorise them when they're uploaded and after that can't dictate what gives move to which folder. Third party photo hosting has been suggested, I think thats a pretty good solution TBH, all you'd have to do is pm any interested parties a link. I've no issue at all with you expressing your opinions and appreciate the feedback smile
