Can you tell what the expectations are when meeting someone, and how do set rules?

How are things not inhospitably awkward after talking about your junk, to meeting in a bar, then play out?

I’m truly asking. I’m not being sarcastic ( this time) I want to start to meet people I’ve chatted with but when I think about it I get so nervous it’s making me want to stop the pursuit.

Personally, I prefer to meet in public for the first time with no expectations.  Just a meet and greet to see if there is any chemistry.  Choose somewhere in the middle where you are both/all a little out of your comfort zone and no one will know you, so, really; who cares?

Take the time to discuss your areas of interest and what is out of bounds. Then as Pippy says meet at a neutral spot for a coffee or drink. If you click set a date and place. If you don't you can walk away.

“It’s sometimes good to remember that they might even be more nervous than you. “
