Centennial Park Etobicoke

Been living around this area for a while, and there are lots of large empty parking lots scattered around the park itself. When I drive by at night [most night after 10pm] I usually see a cars parked beside each other with their lights on sometimes. Always curious about pulling up and maybe catching a show. Are there people in the area that participate?
