Man it's tough out there for us single guys. Any tips for a newbie?

Hi all I just joined in the fun from Winnipeg. It's only been a few days and I'm a single man so I wasn't expecting fireworks off the top but it's been interesting to say the least.

Any tips for a new single guy? I'm very respectful online and in person not pushy. Still any tips would be greatly appreciated.
