The real horror is the sexual violence enacted on people for bigotry and some retro bullshit about AIDS, and the early internet pocket that is unable to adapt to a positive wave of change our global society is living through, in regards to the internet slowly recouperating the clear realitiy (in my scientific opinion) that transgender people have probably existed for at least 10 000 years, or more realistically with the onset of sapiens, given that every genetic locus of sapiens migration on the planet earth all have a transgender population. This understanding is having an increasing effect as the positive effects outweigh the convenience of staying bigoted about it.

Y'all fell behind the knowledge because of fear, and it still holds people back. All the causal evidence suggests we had transgender people before the onset of hormone therapy. The draconian phobias and preferences that have men bully women into further feminization affect the majority of the human species.
