MmIt’s Friday night a hot dry summers evening. The guests have arrived and are settled in the bar. A glass of wine for her and a beer for him Business has been slow so we have closed the bar but they will enjoy the evening with the hotel to themselves and her wish is his command. The reservation had been for two and we had met in the drive as he parked his daka 990 off road mean bike in my driveway. Martin is his name and I introduced myself and greeted Marietta with a firm hand shake. The bike trip had probably lasted all day so I know all she desired is a hot shower and a change of leathers. Love these biker chicks they are tough. She is blonde and a very good looking woman. He is grey quite distinguished looking and I notice he has strong forearms. Need that for the 990z it’s spotless and very clean. Tomorrow will be a different story as they travel further. More of that later. We chat in the bar and I show my interest. Where you from? Why ? When? It’s the standard questions . She is an office manager for a psychiatric doctor he owns or builds malls. It’s casual and light hearted and we share a drink. I wonder what they think.
