I'm genuinely sorry that some have had to deal with rudeness! For the most part we actually get a "thank you for responding" the bottom line is everyone just wants closure one way or another we are all adults we can handle it.

My Mrs has the same problem with so many profiles.  At CD, there was much debate on this matter, with many arguing that the guy wasn't worth the picture.   The other argument was that the guy is famous or important, and cannot risk exposure.  Nevertheless, she has as much right to see what she is getting into.  Some surprises are best avoided.  Funny though, some think that his junk is sufficient stand-in for the whole package.  Ahhh, noooo.  Next!!!!!

We seem to be a tiny minority in that our shots are all as a couple.  Guess that it is because we are newbies.

Seems like a lot of work and time, but not everyone has the confidence to swing for the fences.  Hopefully, your wife opens herself to discovery.

Not to knock SH as we are liking many of this site's features.  

We actually enjoyed CD.  There are a lot of features that we liked.  The home page of club events was handy as well as the sign ups.  They make a distinction between full and soft swap couples to help connections.  The forums were quite healthy - comparatively, the SH forums are pretty dead.  There was some drama and road rage that got  some kicked off the site, but for the most part, people were good.

It is now 5(?) days and counting.  We are beginning to wonder if they are going to reopen in spite of the earlier news.

We've never met anyone directly off of this site but we have met people from different sites. Finding people to mesh with can be difficult. For example, I find a profile that is interesting but as I read on it says that they aren't interested in smokers. We smoke so I won't bother sending a message or if they've messaged me I'll make them aware and that's usually the end of it. Same with swing status, how you play etc. 

We're up for meeting most people as long as they understand what we do and don't do. We prefer to meet at our favourite club (M4) so of course anyone is welcome. It makes it easy if there is a connection but also if there isn't you aren't stuck with us.
